Farfalle with Tuna
Canned Italian tuna is used to make this quick and easy main course dish.
- 1 pound Luigi Vitelli Farfalle (Bowties)
- 1 pc Large white or yellow onion
- 12 oz Italian tuna preserved in olive oil
- 5 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
Slice the onion thinly and put them in a non stick skillet with 3 tbsp of olive oil. Cook at medium low heat for about 10 minutes. Add a little bit of water if needed. Then add the drained tuna, and mix well. Cook for another 5 minutes.Meanwhile cook the pasta al dente. Once ready add it to the tuna sauce and serve immediately.
